Winfield and Peppers doubtful for Sunday

The Vikings and Bears are expected to be without a defensive superstar on Sunday. Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield and Bears defensive end Julius Peppers are both listed as doubtful on the injury report. Winfield has a neck injury while Peppers has a sprained MCL in his left knee.

Mike Tice will not be interviewing for the Oakland Raiders head coaching job. Reports last week indicated that Tice was lined up for an interview, but the Raiders have narrowed their search, and Tice is no longer on the list. Tice says he is disappointed, but believes things happen for a reason.

The Vikings will likely be without two starting defensive backs when they try to stop Aaron Rodgers and the Packers Sunday. Cornerback Antoine Winfield and safety Jamarca Sanford are listed as doubtful in the latest injury report. Center John Sullivan is also doubtful with concussion symptoms.

The Vikings are healthy for the most part but they might be without cornerback Antoine Winfield for a second week in a row. Winfield didn't practice Wednesday. Leslie Frazier says Winfield still has some stiffness in his neck stemming from a tackle he made in a loss to the Chiefs.
