The Twins two game winning streak came to an end with a 4-1 loss to the Rangers. Anthony Swarzak pitched seven solid innings but took the loss. The Rangers elected to close the game with Alexi Ogando over Joe Nathan, which immediately created a closer controversy.

The Twins threatened in the bottom of the ninth but failed to score a run off of Ogando.

Target Field will be an exciting venue on Saturday. For one, a bronze statue of Kent Hrbek will be unveiled before the game. During the game, the Rangers will start Japanese phenom Yu Darvish.
