It was already official that the number seven recruit in the country, soon-to-be senior Rashad Vaughn, was leaving Cooper High School in Robbinsdale.

We did not know where Vaughn would play his senior season of high school basketball, but today we got word Findlay Prep in Las Vegas is the destination.

The basketball prep school is one of the most powerful in the nation, producing alumni like number one pick in June's NBA Draft Anthony Bennett. They don't produce bad team results either, their most recent winning streak of 54 games was snapped in April.

Gopher fans surely hope this isn't the last time he puts on a uniform representing a Minnesota school. This may be the most memorable moment Rashad delivered while still attending school inside our borders.
