Reality show featuring ex-Gopher Eric Decker, wife premieres Sunday

Cold Spring native and Denver Broncos receiver Eric Decker will be pulling double duty on TV Sunday, the St. Cloud Times reports.

In addition to running routes for the Broncos against the Eagles Sunday afternoon, the Rocori High School graduate will also playing husband to his wife, Jessie James, on the premiere of the E! reality series "Eric & Jesse: Game On" at 9 p.m. CT.

Decker, a former Golden Gopher who graduated from the University of Minnesota, has been playing for the Broncos since 2010. James is a country singer whose hits include "Wanted" and "Military Man."

Decker told Cambio that the show is about their wedding and "juggling our careers, getting ready for a big season coming up and we just moved into a new house ... just every day life-the good stuff that goes on, the struggles and getting ready for the big day."

James announced on Twitter last week that the couple is expecting their first baby. The child is reportedly due in March.

Decker played both football and baseball at the U of M, and last season for the Broncos he caught 85 passes for 1,064 yards.

James and Decker told Access Hollywood that they met through a mutual friend. They were married on June 22.
