For the second time in nearly a calendar year, the Timberwolves have defeated the Golden State Warriors.

Friday night's 103-102 victory came after the Wolves nearly let the game slip away. Minnesota scored just 15 points in the 4th quarter but was able to hold on for the win.

Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 24 and 23 points, respectively.

The crowd of 20,412 was the largest ever at Target Center, surpassing a thirteen-year record.

If the Wolves were to make the playoffs with the No. 8 seed – the team's 2.5 games back after Friday's win – a first-round matchup with the Warriors is likely.

With Minnesota having won two games in the last year over Golden State, a best-of-seven series wouldn't exactly be a cakewalk for the two-time conference champions.
