Ex-Twins Young and Revere will play in Philadelphia this season.

Young, the reigning MVP of the American League Championship Series, signed a one-year, $750,000 deal with the Phillies, according to the Associated Press.

Young, 27, hit .267 with 18 homers and 74 RBIs for Detroit in 2012.

In the playoffs, he led the Tigers past the Yankees in the ALCS.

Young's best season was in 2010 with the Twins. He hit .298 with 21 homers and 112 RBIs and finished 10th in AL MVP voting.
