Report: Vikings' Frazier talked to Winfield about returning

The Pioneer Press reports that Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier has talked to defensive back Antoine Winfield about the possibility of returning to Minnesota for the 2013 season.

Winfield was released last Tuesday -- a move that reportedly caught him off guard. If Winfield does return, he'll have to a take a paycut. The 35-year-old veteran was due to make $7.2 million in 2013.

Frazier joined FM 100.3 KFAN's Dan Barreiro on Monday to discuss offseason talkers including Winfield, Greg Jennings and Percy Harvin.
