A Hennepin County judge has dismissed a felony charge against the brother of ex-Wild player Derek Boogaard, who died of a drug overdose in May. Aaron Boogaard was charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Boogaard still faces a misdemeanor charge for allegedly flushing evidence down a toilet.

Wild signs Prosser to 2-year extension

The Wild say they’ve signed defenseman Nate Prosser to a two-year contract extension. The Elk River native is in his third year with Minnesota, shuttling between the big club in St. Paul and minor-league Houston. The extension is a one-way deal, meaning he’s here to stay.
