Report: Wolves involved in possible three team trade with Spurs and Jazz

Alex Kennedy of Hoops World reports a trade involving the Wolves, Spurs and Jazz is being discussed. The deal would send Jamaal Tinsley and C.J. Miles to Minnesota. The only player the Wolves would part with would be Wayne Ellington, who would go to the Jazz. The NBA trade deadline is Thursday.

The Spurs blasted the Timberwolves, 116-100 in San Antonio Wednesday night. Six Spurs scored in double-figures, including a Fountain of Youth-like performance by Tim Duncan. The 35 year old scored 21 points to go along with 15 rebounds. The Wolves wrap up their seven game road trip Friday against Oklahoma City.

Wolves beat Spurs for second straight win

Minnesota beat the Spurs, for the second straight time this season, 87-79 Friday night. Ricky Rubio had 18 points and 10 assists. Kevin Love also had 18 points and 16 rebounds during the victory in Minneapolis. The Wolves are back at the Target Center to take on the L.A. Lakers Sunday afternoon.

Wolves face another Texas test against Spurs

After that big win in Dallas, the Timberwolves are back home tonight to take on the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are 12-7 overall, but are just 2-6 on the road this year. Plus, they have to face red-hot Kevin Love who is coming off a 31-point performance against the Mavericks.
