Colin Kaepernick's lawsuit accusing the NFL of collusion to keep him out of the league is going straight into team owners' pockets, like, right inside the pocket they keep their cell phone in.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Texans owner Bob McNair, among others, have to provide evidence of all cell phone and email records "in relation to the Colin Kaepernick" case.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports adds that "collusion must be shown to have taken place between a team and the league office, or between multiple teams, and could include outside agents influencing teams to ignore certain players for various reasons."

La Canfora says the 49ers, Ravens, Seahawks and Titans have also been contacted by Kaepernick's legal team.

The latest example of collusion keeping Keapernick unemployed, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, came Thursday when Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was lost for the season with a torn ACL.

Instead of giving Kaepernick, whose skill set is similar to Watson's, the Texans immediately signed veteran Matt McGloin.

Kaepnerick, by the way, turns 30 years old today.
