Clutterbuck returns to Wild's top line

The first place Minnesota Wild is getting healthier. Cal Clutterbuck, who missed the last two games with a thigh contusion, is expected to skate on the top line with Mikko Koivu and Dany Heatley Tuesday against Winnipeg. Guillaume Latendresse, Justin Falk, Marek Zidlicky, and Josh Harding all returned to practice as well.

Koivu's return may scramble Wild lines

Mikko Koivu might return to the Wild lineup tomorrow night, and if he does, the big question is...will he be reunited with Dany Heatley on the top line? Heatley has been clicking with Kyle Brodziak and Nick Johnson, which might force coach Mike Yeo to put Koivu on another line that can generate offense.

Devin Setoguchi will be on the ice with the Wild tonight in Chicago. The winger was benched Tuesday night against San Jose for missing a meeting. Setoguchi offered no excuses and apologized to his teammates. He’ll skate on the first line with Mikko Koivu and Dany Heatley.

Head coach Mike Yeo says Dany Heatley was probably the Wild's MVP this season. He hinted that Heatley would have finished with more than 24 goals if Mikko Koivu didn't miss 27 games. Even without his top linemate out of action, Yeo says Heatley "never once complained."

Wild collapses again in loss to Ducks

The Minnesota Wild found a way to lose again on Tuesday night. A dominant first two periods from goalie Josh Harding, coupled with a goal from Dany Heatley, wasn't enough as Anaheim scored twice in the third period to earn the win. The Wild is now 5-21 in its last 26 games.
