Rubio limited with sprained ankle

Ricky Rubio was limited in practice and didn't play in today's scrimmage because of a sprained ankle he suffered in last weekend's preseason game against Milwaukee. Rubio will continue treating his ankle. The Wolves have a preseason game in Milwaukee Wednesday before opening the season next Monday against Oklahoma City.

Rubio off to hot shot start

Ricky Rubio's ability to shoot was heavily criticized before joining the Timberwolves this season. However, after five games Rubio is already starting to quiet his critics. Head coach Rick Adelman says he's "impressed" with Rubio's shooting.

Rubio may go back to Barcelona

Ricky Rubio says he is waiting to see whether NBA players and owners can salvage a season, but that he is considering a return to his former team Barcelona if a labor agreement can't be reached. Rubio was drafted by Minnesota in 2009 and has yet to play an NBA game.
