Timberwolves' rookie point guard Ricky Rubio underwent successful knee surgery on Wednesday. The operation repaired Rubio's torn anterior cruciate and lateral cruciate ligaments in his left knee. Rubio is expected to make a full recovery.

It looks like Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio will return from his torn ACL and start playing again in December. That's what team owner Glen Taylor thinks, anyway. Rubio agreed, saying he's "eager to start running, and I think in December I would be ready to play."
