The Wild's Ryan Suter is one of three finalists for the NHL's Norris Trophy, which is awarded to the league's best defenseman.

Suter -- regarded as a shoe-in to win it -- led the NHL in time-on-ice in the regular season, with an average of 27:13 per game -- including nine games of 30 minutes or more.

In the playoffs, Suter has been logging even more minutes, averaging close to 33 minutes of ice time in three games. In Game 1 alone, he was on the ice for 41:08, a 2-1 overtime loss to Chicago.

Suter was selected as one of three finalists with Montreal's PK Subban and Pittsburgh's Kris Letang, according to the Star Tribune.
