After practicing in limited fashion Wednesday and Thursday, quarterback Sam Bradford did not practice Friday and he's been ruled out for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
"Knee didn't respond well to practice work this week. Next steps beyond this week are unclear," said ESPN's Dan Graziano in a tweet.
The new step meeting renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews later today, according to a report from Chris Mortensen.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Bradford has a bone bruise in his knee. Bradford said it happened on a non-contact play in Week 1 against the Saints.
Case Keenum will start for a second straight week.
Keenum struggled mightily against a good Steelers defense last week. Tampa Bay's defense hasn't been tested yet this season – their Week 1 game was postponed because of Hurricane Irma and their Week 2 opponent was the lowly Chicago Bears.
