Unless you stayed up late to watch a meaningless preseason game, the Vikings wouldn't have needed Marcus Sherels' game-winning pick-six had Blair Walsh made a clutch field goal.
With the game tied 11-11 and 2:09 to go in the fourth quarter, Walsh lined up a 47-yard field goal and missed it wide left. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and the rest of the team laughed their way down the sideline after getting another sigh of relief – just like they did in last year's playoff game when Walsh missed wide left.

Obviously, it wasn't as brutal as his 27-yard miss against the Seahawks in the playoffs last season, but it's not good when a guy who really matters in clutch situations can't make the kicks.
Ironically, Walsh did make a 27-yard field goal to end the first half.
