Vikings claim Rosenfels off waivers

The Minnesota Vikings replaced Donovan McNabb Friday by claiming Sage Rosenfels off waivers. Rosenfels played with the Vikings in 2009 before being traded during the 2010 preseason to the Giants. The eleven year veteran will back up Christian Ponder and Joe Webb.

Ponder practices, questionable for Sunday

Rookie Viking quarterback Christian Ponder returned to practice Friday after nursing a bruised hip. The Pioneer Press reports he was throwing passes alongside backups Joe Webb and Sage Rosenfels. He and Adrian Peterson are listed as questionable for Sunday.
