Shabazz Muhammad 'very happy' after Wolves let him go

He'll reportedly sign with the Bucks.

On Thursday, the Timberwolves agreed to a contract buyout with forward Shabazz Muhammad, where it's since been reported that he'll sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.

And digging himself out of the deep hole on the Wolves bench apparently makes him very happy.

"I'm very happy and can't wait to get my next opportunity," Muhammad told Marc Spears of The Undefeated.

If he does sign with the Bucks, he'll probably get to the play since Milwaukee is a bit light in the front court, and Muhammad will give them a nice scoring and rebounding touch off the bench.

Thibodeau clearly didn't see any value in playing the former first-round pick.

After playing in each of Minnesota's first 21 games this season, Muhammad has been a DNP (did not play) in 32 of the last 43 games.

The icing was apparently on the cake for Muhammad after getting zero playing time the last two games even though Jimmy Butler was out with a knee injury.
