Short and bittersweet: Vikings aren't throwing deep

The Pioneer Press did some digging to find out that 54 of Christian Ponder’s 62 pass attempts this season qualify as, “short.” In other words, the average completion has gone for less than five yards. But Ponder says they’re taking what the defense gives them and they’re not going to force anything.
