He's an aging middle linebacker that the Bears cast out of Chicago.

Brian Urlacher, eight-time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer, says the Bears' $2 million a year offer for 2013 was a "slap in the face."

"Don't get me wrong," Urlacher told the Chicago Tribune, "Two million is a lot of money. But I'm not going to put my body through what it goes through during the season for that amount of money."

That makes Urlacher, 34, a free agent for the first time in 13 seasons.
