Sports clip o' the day: Northern Illinois' new Siberian Husky mascot is adorable

The Northern Illinois football team has done a lot of good things on the field this year.

Jerry Kill's squad from 2008-2010, the Huskies are undefeated, ranked No. 14 in the nation according to the AP poll, and feature quarterback Jordan Lynch who has rushed for more than 300 yards in a game twice this year.

They also made an incredible choice off the field recently, choosing a Siberian husky named Mission as their new mascot.

The university recently made an introductory video for the new face of the school and released it last night.

Mission takes over for another husky, Diesel, who retired last week and was known for celebrating NIU touchdowns by high-fiving cheerleaders.

Swapping out adorable for adorable, really can't go wrong there.
