The Timberwolves beat the San Antonio Spurs, 106-96, Monday night at Target Center. All five Wolves' starters scored in double figures. Kevin Love led the way with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Luke Ridnour and Michael Beasley each scored 19 points.

San Antonio Spurs' Patrick Mills hit a 3-point buzzer-beater to lift Australia to a dramatic 82-80 victory over undefeated Russia on Monday at the London Games. The United States is now the only unbeaten team in the Olympic men's basketball tournament. Future Timberwolves Alexey Shved and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 13 points for the Russians.

Wolves' road trip makes tough stop in Texas

The Timberwolves can end another streak in Texas tonight. They've lost 14 straight games to the Spurs in San Antonio. Although Minnesota has won the first two meetings this year at Target Center, the Spurs have Manu Ginobili back in the lineup and the Wolves are without Ricky Rubio.
