Overtime victory for Lakeville North opens exciting AA Boys Hockey Tournament

The Class 2A Boys' State Hockey Tournament is off to an exhilarating start as overtime was needed to settle the bet between Lakeville North and Roseau. The Panthers came out victorious 2-1.

North's Henry Enebak wrestled for the puck in the slot and fired a quick wrist shot that found the back of the net for the game-winner 1:21 into the extra session.

The entire game was extremely close. A scoreless first period gave way to a pair of goals in the second period , and that was either team could get until Enebak won it.

After a Centennial goal to make it 3-1 the Eagles scored again pushing their lead back to three.
