Stephon Marbury left the NBA for China after playing just 23 forgettable games with the Boston Celtics in 2009, and it may have been the best decision he has ever made.

Marbury played for three Chinese teams including his last, the Beijing Ducks, where he won three CBA championships and an MVP honor in 2015.

Whether Timberwolves fans have fond memories of Stephon Marbury or not, his popularity has grown to epic proportions overseas. Not only does "Starbury" (as he affectionately calls himself) have his own Chinese postage stamp, two statues bearing his likeness, and his own Mueseum, he is now starring in his very own Chinese biopic movie.

Marbury tweeted out the trailer for his new feature film, "My Other Home" on Wednesday.

In the 1996 NBA Draft, Minnesota traded away a future hall-of-fame player in Ray Allen for the point guard out of Georgia Tech. As a rookie, Marbury averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 assists per game and was named to the 1997 All-Rookie Team.

By 1999, Marbury and his agent demanded a trade out of Minnesota. He landed with the Nets in a three-team-deal that brought Terrell Brandon to the Wolves.
