Suter scores the game-winner as Wild drop Blackhawks

Chicago Blackhawks 1

The Minnesota Wild beat Chicago 2-1 Tuesday night, hoping to rebound from what's been a tough stretch.

1. Suter responds with the game winner

It's been an interesting few days for Wild defenseman Ryan Suter. First he was critical of new defensive pairings, then he and head coach Mike Yeo cleared the air. But the Wild assistant captain left no doubt when he netted the go-ahead goal in the third.

The helper on that goal came from Mikael Granlund for his 10th point in the last 10 games.

2. Dubnyk holds off Blackhawks

Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves in the Wild win, his 12th victory of the season. Many of those saves came late as Chicago added the extra attacker in the closing minutes.

3. Pominville scores in back-to-back games

After not scoring a goal all season until Saturday night, Wild forward Jason Pominville netted his second goal in as many games Tuesday.

Pominville's second goal of the season gave the Wild an early lead on the road, something that they haven't been used to lately.

Tweet of the Night:

This looks like trouble!

The goal extended Patrick Kane's points streak to 20 consecutive games – one game shy of Bobby Hull's Blackhawks record of 21.
