Terry Ryan: Gardenhire won't quit because of frustration

Frustrated. That's a fair way to assume Twins manager Ron Gardenhire's emotions right now. Gardenhire and the Twins are closing in on a third consecutive 90 loss season, but is frustration enough to force Gardenhire out the door?

We're not talking about him getting fired (which he very well could). We're talking about Gardy walking out the door on his own. Twins general manager Terry Ryan told KFAN-FM 100.3 that it won't happen.

As for when a decision on Gardenhire's future will be made:

Ryan noted that Gardenhire, 56 next month, is still young in terms of baseball managers, and he believes Gardenhire still dreams of winning a World Series.

We'll have to wait and see if he'll get that opportunity with the Twins.
