Litchfield: Gopher commit will be MLB Draft pick
Eddie Estrada's immediate future is in the Northwoods League with the Willmar Stingers, but the Golden Gopher commit could soon find himself in a Major League Baseball organization. Fresh off his senior year at Litchfield High School, Estrada is expected to picked in this week's MLB Draft. The Twins, Dodgers, Red Sox, Reds and other teams have been keeping an eye on him.

Rochester: High jumper breaks her own state record
Andy Jacobs, a junior track and field star at Rochester Century High School, broke her own state record at the State Tournament on Saturday. Jacobs cleared 13-feet, 1-inch in the pole vault, breaking the state record she set as a freshman by one inch.

Eau Claire: Lucky to be alive
Joey Greshik just took third in the 110 meter hurdles at the Wisconsin state track and field tournament. But the kid from Eau Claire, just seven years ago, nearly died when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Greshik now says he eats whatever he wants because he has tremendous control over the disease.
