The Chicago Cubs staved off elimination and kept the city's hope alive as they beat the Cleveland Indians 3-2 in Game 5 of the World Series Sunday night.

Leading 3-2 in the seventh, the Cubs went to the bullpen and asked All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman to get an 8-out save. Chapman threw 42 pitches, 15 of them topping 100 mph, according to ESPN.

Game 6 is Tuesday night in Cleveland where 67,000 fans are expected.

"It's going to be crazy. It's going to be nuts," Indians first baseman Mike Napoli said, via ESPN. "They're going to be pretty fired up, and they're going to get us going."

Chicago hasn't won a World Series since 1908 and Cleveland hasn't won it since 1948.

If the Cubs can force a Game 7, it will be played Wednesday night in Cleveland.
