Former No. 1 golfer Tiger Woods' injury riddled season continues, Woods announced today that he has withdrawn from the British Open.
The 14-time major champion winner has yet to play in single a major this year. He is still recovering from back surgeries and this is the fifth time he's missed a major championship in the last three years.
Woods told reporters that although he is golfing back-to-back days, he still doesn't feel strong enough to play on the tour. The last major Woods won was the 2008 US Open.
The 145th Open will be held at Royal Troon starting July 14. Jason Day, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth are the favorites.
