Towns captures sixth straight Rookie of the Month award

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns collected his sixth straight Rookie of the Month award from the NBA. Towns is just the eighth player in NBA history to win the award six consecutive times.

The rookie concluded the regular season averaging: 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor.

The Wolves just finished their regular season with a record of 29-53 and are in the process of finding a new head coach and general manager after relieving Sam Mitchell and Milt Newton of their duties.
