Time Capsule: April 24, 1996 -- Twins 24, Tigers 11

Only once have the Twins scored 24 runs in a game.

It happened on this day in 1996, as Greg Myers and Paul Molitor each knocked in five runs apiece as Minnesota hammered Detroit, 24-11, at Tiger Stadium.

At the time, it was the most runs scored off the Tigers in 84 years -- as Minnesota rallied from a 10-6 deficit in the fifth inning, tallying runs in every inning except for the fourth.
