Only two weeks remain in the high school football season and the games are more meaningful now than ever. Bragging rights are on the line along with conference title hopes and section seeding implications adding importance to the week. This time around, I think there are four games that stand above the rest.

St. Cloud Tech @ #5 (4A) Bemidji
Both teams are still battling for a No. 1 seed in their sections. Tech is currently third behind Elk River and Brainerd in 8AAAAA. A win for Bemidji would pretty much seal the top seed in 7AAAA.

#3 (4A) South St. Paul @ Mahtomedi
South St. Paul still has an outside shot at the top seed in section 3AAAA. Meanwhile, Mahtomedi can take control of the No. 1 seed in 4AAAA if they win and Hill-Murray loses to St. Thomas Academy.

Red Wing @ #7 (5A) Shakopee
Red Wing is already pretty much guaranteed the top seed in 1AAAA. The best Shakopee can do is end up with the second seed in 6AAAAA. Eden Prairie is a guarantee to get the No. 1 seed ahead of the Sabres.

#9 (5A) Osseo @ Champlin Park

This is easily the most important game of the week. The winner will likely be on the opposite side of the bracket to Wayzata in section 5AAAAA. Champlin currently holds the second seed just ahead of the red hot Orioles.
