Get ready for some playoff football, because that's what it's all about starting this weekend. Until then, sit back and enjoy FM 100.3 KFAN's Tiny Joe Nelson's must-see match-ups of week 8. These games will have playoff atmosphere's and could provide plenty of fireworks.

St. Michael-Albertville @ Elk River
The Elk's upset Rogers last week and are on the rise, and maybe headed towards a birth in the state tournament.

Delano @ Glencoe-Silver Lake
This Wright County match-up is a rematch of last year's 28-27 game. Delano is looking for revenge after GSL converted a 2-point conversion to win with less than a minute to play.

Mahtomedi @ Hill-Murray
This is looking more and more like a preview of the section 4AAAA championship game.

Blaine @ Osseo
A couple of one loss teams with momentum. Osseo avoided a loss to Champlin Park last week on a 30-yard TD pass as time expired.

Lakeville North @ Prior Lake
North is very good but the Lakers are flying under the radar. They destroyed Lakeville South last week and can win a conference title by defeating North.

Champlin Park @ Anoka
The Rebels need to figure something out to avoid close losses. They're a good team, and could provide themselves with momentum by beating a strong Anoka team.

Eden Prairie @ Wayzata
This is probably a preview of the state championship game. Last year's match-up was a 28-27 thriller, and this could end up the same way.

Final regular season rankings will be posted later this week. Check back Thursday for those!
