The Minnesota Wild are 3-2-1 in this lockout-shortened season, with the latest victory coming last night in a 3-2 thriller over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard was the hero, as he scored on a breakaway late in the third period. Gleeful Wild fans let out a sigh of relief as they would see their team snap a three-game losing streak.

Tonight, at Xcel Energy Center, it's perhaps the biggest hockey game Minnesota has seen in a long, long time. It's on national TV (NBCSportsChannel), and it's against the undefeated Chicago Blackhawks, a team off to a 6-0-0 start -- the best start to an NHL season in the franchise's 86-year history.

So. Time recall all those great games between the North Stars and the Hawks back in the old Norris Division, when a guy named Al Secord drew the ire of the Met Center crowd. Seems just like yesterday:
