Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa topped Southwest Minnesota Christian 54-45 to win the 1A championship -- and remain perfect for the season. In Class 2A Plainview-Elgin-Millville defeated Litchfield 55-39. In the 3A championship game, DeLaSalle hit a last-second two-pointer to squeak by Minneapolis Washburn 57-56. The 4A championship was also a buzzer-beater finish -- Osseo held on to beat Lakeville North 49-47.

State wrestling: To seed or not to seed the individual tournament

The individual state wrestling tournament is going on this weekend and the attention is on the random draw that makes up the brackets. Every year at this time the debate about seeding the brackets takes place, and this year is no different as some of the state's top wrestlers will grapple in the early rounds.
