Troy Aikman made it really clear that he hates his new co-worker Skip Bayless

Skip Bayless is about as polarizing as they come in sports media, but one former NFL player turned commentator hates that his employer hired the former ESPN talking head.

Troy Aikman, who won three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys and now sits next to Joe Buck in the Fox Sports broadcast booth, told Sports Illustrated that he's extremely disappointed that Fox hired Bayless.

"Clearly, [Fox Sports president of national networks] Jamie Horowitz and I have a difference of opinion when it comes to building a successful organization," Aikman said. "I believe success is achieved by acquiring and developing talented, respected and credible individuals, none of which applies to Skip Bayless."

Bayless covered the Cowboys in the 1990s and wrote a book called "Hell Bent" in which he claimed Aikman is gay. Aikman didn't address the claim while he was playing, but in a 2015 interview with Sports Illustrated he said it bothered him and Bayless made it all up for attention.

Bayless was hired as a host for Fox Sports 1 last week and his first show, called "Undisputed," debuted today.
