The Twins swept the Brewers in four-games with an 8-6 victory in the series finale at Target Field Thursday night.

Minnesota (23-28) jumped out to a big lead against ex-Twin Kyle Lohse thanks to a surge of power.

Chris Parmelee, Brian Dozier, Joe Mauer and Ryan Doumit all homered in the game.

Parmelee started things off with his fifth homer of the season, a solo shot to put the Twins up 1-0 in the third.

Dozier and Mauer then hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth, and Doumit hit a two-run homer later in the inning to give the Twins a 5-0 lead.

P.J. Walters had a six-run lead after five innings before giving up a three-run triple to Logan Schafter in the sixth, which cut the Twins' lead in half.

An RBI groundout from Parmelee scored Justin Morneau in the bottom of the sixth to make a 7-4 game, and Josh Willingham's run-scoring single in the seventh put the Twins on top, 8-4.

Glen Perkins, who had pitched in three straight games, was given the night off, so Jared Burton filled in flawlessy with a 1-2-3 inning to pick up his second save of the season.

Walters (2-0) ended up allowing four runs on 10 hits over 6 innings for the win.

Lohse endured the loss, giving up six runs before being pulled after 4 2/3 innings. Four of the eight hits he allowed were home runs.

The Twins will ride a four-game win streak into this weekend's home series against the Seattle Mariners.
