Twins ground crews get ready for two

Freezing rain?

Let's play two.

A few more inches of snow?

Let's play two.

Slush-covered state?

Let's play two.

That's what's ahead of the Twins today as they try to fit in a day-night split doubleheader at Target Field.

Last night's game was called off due to snow, and rescheduled for 7:10 p.m. The scheduled day game that was supposed to start at 12:10 p.m. has been pushed back an hour to 1:10 p.m.

Crews worked all night long to get the field ready, according to KSTP-TV.

Twins president Dave St. Peter tweeted out this photo just before 7 a.m., giving a thumbs up to his grounds crew:

And here's what it looked like right after 9 a.m.:

As for the games, the Twins (8-7) entertain the Miami Marlins (4-15) in a brief Interleague series before Texas comes to town for a four-game series Thursday.

In the 1:10 p.m. game, Kevin Correia (1-1) will start for the Twins against the Marlins' Jose Hernandez (0-1).

In the 7:10 p.m. game, Minnesota's Mike Pelfrey (2-1) will face Miami's Ricky Nolasco (0-2).
