Twins: Sano promoted to Double-A New Britain

The Twins promoted prospect Miguel Sano to Double-A New Britain on Sunday.

Sano wrapped up his time at Class A Fort Myers with a pair of home runs Sunday afternoon. He leaves the Miracle with a .330 batting average and a league-leading 16 home runs and 48 RBI.

Sano is rated the No. 1 Twins' prospect, according to Baseball America.

Joining Sano from Fort Myers to New Britain are Eddie Rosario and Angel Morales.
