Twins sign international prospect Amaurys Minier

The Twins have reportedly signed 16-year-old Amaurys Minier, a Dominican infielder ranked No. 12 among all international prospects by Baseball America.

The Pioneer Press talked with Twins vice president for personnel Mike Radcliff on how he sees Minier's future with the club.

Eddie Rosario, one of the Twins top minor league prospects, was hit in the face by a line drive during batting practice on Tuesday. He was standing on third base when a line drive hit him above his upper lip. He was rushed the hospital, where team officials thought he was going to be OK.

The Pioneer Press reports the Twins have reached a deal with second-round draft pick, Jose Berrios. The right-handed pitcher from Puerto Rico agreed to a $1.55 million signing bonus. He was the No. 32 pick in the draft.
