It's been two years since the Twins' entire team was together at the Metrodome, but this year's team will be there for Twinsfest this weekend. Last year's Twinsfest weekend was moved to the National Sports Center in Blaine after the Metrodome roof collapsed.

Metrodome getting new scoreboards

New LED-display boards will be replacing the 23 year old auxiliary scoreboards inside the Metrdome this summer. These scoreboards display game information on the facing of the upper deck, not to be confused with the large video screens near the roof of the Metrodome.

Just a day before the Minnesota House and Senate approved funding for a new football stadium in downtown Minneapolis, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was named the worst stadium in the entire country by Time Magazine. It said the "ailing, collapse-prone Metrodome in Minneapolis is long overdue for a replacement."
