Tyus Jones names final college visits, at U of M today

Apple Valley High School megastar Tyus Jones named his final college visits today via Twitter, leaving off the list Michigan State and Ohio State, while including the University of Minnesota.

Sort of.

Jones is in Dinkytown today unofficially looking at head coach Richard Pitino and the Minnesota basketball program, while he named four other schools he will take official visits to.

While it may appear a tough blow for the hometown school, the visit being unofficial and all, experts are not concerned since he's been in Minnesota all his life and has seen the University multiple times.

Others also not shocked.

So no one needs to panic that Minnesota is not on the list of "official" visits.

Besides, the odds are massively against the #2 recruit in the nation staying home if he follows through on his promise to go to school with #1 recruit Jahlil Okafor.
