The No. 1-ranked Bulldogs (17-4-4 and 11-3-3 in WCHA) hosted Michigan Tech Friday night. UMD had a four point lead in the first period, but had to settle for a 4-4 tie. The Huskies (11-12-2 and 8-7-2) scored three goals in the third period to tie it up. The teams face-off again Saturday night in Duluth.

After nine weeks, No. 1 Bulldogs finally gets home game

Big homecoming for the hockey Bulldogs this weekend. Due a scheduling quirk, No. 1 UMD hasn’t played at Amsoil Arena in nine weeks. They’ll take on Alabama-Hunstville Friday and Saturday.
