The final game of the Prep Bowl came down to the final drive. Rocori avoided a game-tying score by Bemidji after an incomplete pass on fourth-down let the Spartans kill the clock and win their first Class 4A title.

The Gophers capped an exciting weekend of hockey with another victory. They leave Duluth with two instant classics to their credit, two games with five goals, and most importantly, two wins over bitter-rival Duluth.

Bemidji victory caps Week 4 of high school football season

Another road win for Bemidji - this time at Brainerd - headlined an evening of big prep football matchups around the state. Eden Prairie demonstrated why it's the top-ranked team in Class 5A; Marshall bulldozed Jackson County Central; and Lakeville North won its battle of the undefeateds with Rosemount.
