Head coach Bob Nielson says his team is playing it's best at the right time, and it might have them on a collision course with a third national championship in the last four years.

The defending national champs are known for doing the little things a little bit better than their opponents in the postseason. WCHA player of the year Jack Connolly says the little things will "win you games; they’ll win you championships.”

UMD Bulldogs sport Mohawks for playoff push

The UMD Bulldogs are up to another hair-raising stunt heading into WCHA playoffs. The Duluth News-Tribune reports they all got Mohawks for team unity. Last year, the ‘Dogs all dyed their hair blond -- and won the NCAA title.
