NBA: Bryant fouled Rubio at the buzzer

A bit of vindication for Ricky Rubio.

He was smacked by Kobe Bryant while trying to get off a last-second shot in last night’s loss to the Lakers.

Rubio could have tied the game had he gone to the line, but the foul was never called. Today, the Associated Press reports the NBA told the Wolves the refs should have blown the whistle.

While Mr. Rubio complained bitterly, Mr. Bryant shrugged it off, according to the Orange County Register:
