Video: For once, NBA referees blow their whistle for an obvious travel
If you ever played basketball growing up, one of the first rules you learn about is traveling.
Traveling is a violation that occurs when a players either takes three or more steps without dribbling the ball, or illegally moves the pivot foot.
But in the NBA, traveling is rarely called. Just go to YouTube and check out all the times referees missed an obvious travel.
However on Wednesday night, Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder committed one of the most obvious travel calls you'll ever see.
And guess what? The referees actually saw it this time! Here's the video:
