Video: Josh Harding throws fit after being yanked
Minnesota Wild coach Mike Yeo said he's not the type of guy who pulls his goalie after giving up two goals ... but Wednesday was different.
Josh Harding, who gave up two early goals that erased a 1-0 Minnesota lead over Chicago, was pulled in favor of Niklas Backstrom.
At the time, Harding didn't like it, and was seen on camera smashing his stick against a wall:
With Backstrom in nets, Chicago didn't score again and the Wild pulled out a 3-2 shootout win.
Afterwards Yeo told reporters Harding seemed to be fighting the puck. "I just felt that's what we needed," he said.
