Motley Crue bassist meets Blaine girl who made anti-bullying video

A 13-year-old girl from Blaine has met one of her rock idols as a result of an anti-bullying video she posted on YouTube. Chloe McCarty posted the video after being bullied at school over her medical disorder. The music in the video was from Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx -- who was so touched by it that he arranged for the two to meet before the band's concert at the Minnesota State Fair.

Beasley surprised by video game rating

It's not often that a professional athlete will admit that their video game rating are too high. That was almost the case with Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley. After being told he had a player rating of 78 on NBA 2K12, Beasley said, "That's higher than I thought."

The video of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, in which he says 47 percent of the population "believe that they are victims" surfaced in part due to the work of Monika Bauerlein and Clara Jeffery, co-editors of Mother Jones magazine, the Star Tribune reports. Bauerlein is the former managing editor of City Pages. Jeffery graduated from Carleton College.
