The new U.S. Bank Stadium looks ready for football.

On Monday the Vikings released a timelapse of the turf installation that took place over the past two-ish months. Here's a look at it:

However, the Vikings will not be the first team to play on that turf. On Aug. 3, soccer clubs Chelsea and A.C. Milan from the English Premiere League will break in the surface.

The Vikings will not play in their new place until Aug. 28, when they host the San Diego Chargers in week three of the preseason.
